LoofCo loofah bath sponge – 1 pc

Luffa is not a sea sponge, but the fruit of a fast-growing gourd species: by the time it ripens, a dense network of fibres forms inside it, which makes an excellent sponge when dried. LoofCo's luffas are grown in Egypt, harvested by hand, deseeded and dried, then cut up – without chemicals and plastic.

When dry it is hard and rough to the touch, but soaked in water it swells and becomes a soft, springy sponge. It is ideal for bathing and showering: it gently exfoliates the skin while also holding the lather of your favourite soap or shower gel well.

Usage:

Before use, soak it in water so that it softens and expands. Then apply soap or shower gel to it and wash with it using circular motions.

Cleaning and storage:

After use, rinse it out, squeeze it out and hang it up in a well-ventilated place so that it dries quickly. To keep it fresh, it can also be washed in the washing machine from time to time, or boiled for a few minutes. Do not leave it permanently in a damp, humid environment.
